Description

The 28-passenger, Mekong Sun provides an excellent way of cruising this remote region. The ship was custom built in Laos in 2006 and is a very comfortable vessel capable of mastering the wilder sections of the upper Mekong. Accommodation is arranged over two decks with 11 classic cabins on the main deck which measure 12 m2 with sliding windows and French balconys providing fantastic views of the passing landscapes. There are three superior cabins, one on the main deck which measures 16m2 which has superb panoramic views to the front and are two on the upper deck which measure 18m2 and feature a small private balcony. All cabins are en-suite with shower/WC and air conditioning. There is a large sundeck onboard with bar service in addition to the restaurant and bar area. The excellent crew of 17 provides a selection of Asian and continental food and friendly service throughout the cruise. The Mekong Sun is a very comfortable ship capable of mastereing the wilder sections of the upper Mekong.
