Description
Launched in 2011, the 62 suite RV AmaLotus offers travellers an intimate and luxurious river cruising experience along the Mekong. More than ninety percent of suites feature an outside balcony, creating a cosy conservatory style area a step away from your spacious air-conditioned suite. Every suite on board offers sophisticated amenities and stylish décor, fusing accents of colonial design with regional Khmer artefacts. Standard Suites are large entry-level suites measuring 226 sq.ft. with porthole windows, while Deluxe Balcony Suites offer both an outside balcony. Larger Sadec Balcony Suites also benefit from two balconies as well as a king-size bed and an ensuite with a separate bath. Meanwhile, Owners Balcony Suites, have an Outside Balcony in addition to a large Balcony Terrace with cane rocking chairs. Facilities in all suites include twin or queen sized beds, dressing table, ensuite bathroom, safe, mini-bar, television and air conditioning. Between your time exploring the varied ports of call you will find much to keep you entertained within RV AmaLotus’ well appointed public areas. The Sun Deck provides a spacious environment to enjoy the stunning landscapes as we sail through rural countryside and approach floating markets. Relax with a book in the Panoramic Lounge & Library or enjoy a drink at the Saigon Lounge & Bar. Take in the approaching sights as you stroll around the shipfront Bridge Deck or head to the Sun Deck and make use of the swimming pool while enjoying riverside views. All of the meals served in the stylish Mekong Restaurant reflect the skill of the ships internationally-trained chefs, who have perfected the art of creating European and Asian fare. With sumptuous, freshly-prepared local cuisine on offer alongside modern Western influenced menus, your tastes are catered for no matter your preference. Refreshing drinks, in the form of soft drinks, local beer and spirits, are available at no extra charge during the entire cruise and regional wines are included with every lunch and dinner.
